Experienced Swiss Setup Machinist & Quality Engineer

We are currently looking for: 

 An Experienced CNC Swiss Machinist

Marshall Manufacturing is currently looking to add an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to our team.  If you have the required machining skills and a strong work ethic, you may be the employee we are looking for.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Set up, operate & troubleshoot CNC Swiss equipment
• Ability to read & understand blueprints or work orders
• Perform inspection per quality plans
• Perform minor preventive maintenance of equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work area

Requirements:

• 5+ years set up experience
• Experience in set up of Hanwha SL_HP Series 20, 26, 32 mm; Citizen L20 VIIM8; Nomura
• Automatic barfeeders – LNS 332, MTA, FMB/Citizen; Fanuc 18iT (two path); Mitsubishi
• Ability to hold tight tolerances such as .0002”
• Basic inspection: GD&T; Vision system programming (MicroVu P50)
• Milling, turning, broaching
• Knowledge of tooling selection (guides, collets, fingers, cutting tools)
• Knowledge of cutter selection/carbides/coatings

Value added skills:

• ISO 13485:2003 – medical manufacturing experience
• Experience working with exotic materials
• Software – WinCNC; AutoCad; Solidworks
• Basic Math, Trigonometry, Geometry, Basic Algebra
• Minor tool grinding

An Experienced Quality Engineer

 

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Interpret, clarify, and document customer quality requirements from drawings
• Ensure quality requirements for production, purchasing, subcontract, and inspection operations are adequately described
• Quality control plans
• Create inspection criteria
• Specify quality tools and measuring equipment used for measuring customer product(s)
• Communicate quality related concerns to customer(s) and/or Marshall Manufacturing  personnel
• Establish, maintain, and improve policies and procedures for quality related areas per QMS requirements
• Review, update, and approve quality process documentation, as required
• Communicate measurement of goals for quality related areas
• Evaluate validity of customer rejects
• Ensure customer rejects and quality problems are satisfactorily resolved and reported
• Respond to customer complaints, returns, and corrective actions, as needed
• Ensure the quality processes are effective, controlled, and continually improved, so that product conforms to customer requirements
• Document and disposition NC’s in conformance with the Marshall’s quality system
• Participate with internal and external (vendor) audits
• Initiate corrective actions when areas of concern are not functioning as needed
• Implement improvement ideas to maintain quality requirements
• Perform other related miscellaneous tasks/duties/projects as assigned/required by Quality Manager and/or President

Following Experience Preferred:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• PPAP
• APQP Documentation
• IQ/OQ/PQ
• SPC
• FMEA’s
• Gage R&R
• GD&T
• CMM
• Precision Measuring Systems (Micro-Vu)
• Experience with ISO 9001:2008; ISO 13485:2003; FDA 21 CFR, Part 820
• ISO Certified Auditor Training
• Microsoft Office Software (Access, Excel, Word)
• Exact JobBoss ERP Software and/or uniPoint Continuous Improvement Software
• Experience with NAFTA Certificates of Origin
