Miniature High Pressure Thermoplastic Seals Precision Machined To Close Tolerances - Custom Manufactured By Marshall Manufacturing Company

Minneapolis, Minnesota: Tiny 0.118 inch OD by 0.078 ID thermoplastic seals are precision machined to handle fluid high pressures by Marshall Manufacturing Company.

These custom parts are machined to close tolerances from virgin PEEK® polymer barstock. Known for outstanding wear resistance over a wide range of pressures, velocity and temperatures, these PEEK seals provide the exact solution for a difficult machine tool sealing requirement.*

Produced in large quantities, these seals are machined by Marshall Manufacturing using high speed precision lathes to turn inside diameter, outside diameter and slice (separate) each seal from the bar stock material. The custom designed process is but one example of many utilized by Marshall Manufacturing to provide custom precision machining of high performance materials that are difficult to produce in miniature sizes with very tight tolerances.

In addition to thermoplastic polymers such as PEEK, Marshall Manufacturing precision machines Teflon, Delrin, UHMW, PVC, CPVC and various other polycarbonate materials. The company also precision machines titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, steel, aluminum and brass.

Typical part features available include turning and milling surfaces to tolerances as close as .0001 inch. Additional operations include cross holes at various angles, slots, threading, knurling and flanges, to name a few.
